This powerful extensive class trains you in all aspects of the logo design process including logo design theory, execution, working with typography, working with shapes & lines, selecting colour pallets, using subtle effects, preparing and exporting files and how to work with Adobe Illustrator to create stunning logos.
Learn Adobe illustrator tools
Before going through the logo design techniques, we will have a crash class in Adobe illustrator as we review all of the most used tools we will use throughout this class including the width, shape-builder, pathfinder, offset path, gradient tools and using layering masks and more.
Identify logo categories.
You will learn about the different types of logos and how to achieve them on Adobe Illustrator. I will teach you about letter marks and monograms, monoline, word mark, symbols/icons, combination marks, and emblems/crests. Each logo has specific traits and characteristics, so it’s important to know them all.
