Starting out in graphic design can be overwhelming if not confusing. You will be faced with the challenge of what to learn, which software to use, and ultimately how do you get clients that you will work for and get paid. This feeling is what makes a lot of people quit before their career even start in graphic design.
To help you gain clarity on these pertinent questions and more is why this workshop is organized. For the three days of the workshop, Nimmyel, Ponlir will be sharing with you what he has learnt from his journey as a self-taught designer and his experienced of teaching graphic design and working with many clients for almost three years now.
Workshop structure
In day 1, You will learn about the right things you are suppose to learn to become a professional and high earn designer. From learning the theory to softwares and the kind of projects you can easily work on to help build and develop your skills in design.
In day 2, you will learn about design portfolio. Your portfolio plays a vital role in getting you a job or being hired as a freelancer. Nimmyel will share with you how to build your portfolio, the types of projects you should include in and how to present your work.
In the last day, you will get to learn about the most important phase of graphic design; how to get clients and how much to charge for your design services.
This workshop is strictly for people who are serious and interested in becoming professionals in the field of design. If you don’t see yourself as such, we strongly advise that you don’t border to register so the right people can have the opportunity to do so because is only limited slots that is available.
The workshop will be live on either Zoom or Google Meet which means it will be interactive and you get the opportunity to ask questions and interact with other participants.
