    As a Pro Group Member of the community, you can participate on the weekly live video call with experts in various creative and business fields of your interest. You get to interact with mentors one on one and get help where you are finding challenges.

  • I can't log into my community account

    There could be many reasons that could result to this, but the common one we have seen is when you enter your login details incorrectly.

    We advise that you check your email and password to make sure they are correct as all these are case sensitive.

  • How do i signup for a course on Skillarn?

    Click on classroom on the menu to explore the variety of courses on the platform. Click on anyone that you are interested in and enroll for the course. You will see the starting date for the next session of the course on the course description page.

  • What is the nature of courses on Skillarn?

    All courses on SKillarn are 100% online and are hosted live in real-time where students join the class live to learn and interact with the course tutor.

    We used familiar video conferencing applications for the classes so you don't need to download any special software on your computer or phone. Zoom and Google Meet are integrated on the platform for this purpose.

  • Is there a payment plan for your courses?

    No. Skillarn does not offer payment in installent for now, you just have to make a onetime payment for the course and have access to the course materials the live classroom sessions.

  • What happen when i missed a class session?

    We advise strongly that you try and attend all your class as at when scheduled. But in an event where you couldn't make it to any class, a recorded video of the class will uploaded after 24hrs and the link will be available on your dashboard to access it. Ensure you carry out all activities or assignments discussed in the class and submit them as instructed.

  • Can i signup for multiple courses at at time?

    Yes. But be careful to check the timing for the courses and make sure they are not taking place at the same time.

  • Who can teach a class on Skillarn?

    Anyone who is great at what they do and passionate about sharing their skills with others can teach a class on Skillarn. Our teachers are entrepreneurs, creatives and professionals in different fields.

  • How can i become a tutor on Skillarn?

    You have to apply to become a tutor on Skillarn. You will under a verification process to validate your claim of what you said you are good at before you will be able to create a course on Skillarn.

  • What can i teach on Skillarn?

    You can teach any topic you're passionate about. Usually we suggest a creative skill course with a real world application. To get started, It helps to think about what skills you'd most confident sharing with others.

  • How are classes on Skillarn taught?

    All classes on Skillarn are host live in real-time on video conferencing platforms integrated to the platform. When you create a course, students who take your course will access the classroom on their dashboard at the set time for the class.

    Classes can hold 2 to 3 times in a week for a maximum of 5 weeks.

  • Can i contact my students directly?

    Yes. From your dashboard you can message all your students or selected one(s). You will also interact with your students on the course forum where they ask questions and share ideas with you and other students.

  • How can earn on Skillarn?

    You earn money when students register for your course and you go live to teach the class on the scheduled days for the class. We advise that you do well to promote your course too through your personal networks and other communities you belong to.

  • When and how do i receive payments from Skillarn?

     You will receive half of the total payment for the course as registered by students for the month on the first class session. The remaining part of the payment will be wired to you at the end of the class for the session. Payments are made to the account details you provided when creating your account.

  • How can i know how many students registered for my course in a particular session?

    Statistics of students who signup for a a course at each session are display on your dashboard under the class stats menu.
